Hi everyone!!!! I think it is about time that I started sharing some of my thoughts again. This year has been filled with so much inspiration and growth. I have decided to incorporate more meaning into what I share through my art and what I teach to my students. I am a firm believer that art has a healing process that connects us to our true selves and helps us get in touch with our feelings and emotions. Not only that, but art is also a wonderful way to release the stress and to help you recharge and make some time for YOU. I have just created a group on Facebook to focus on that beautiful art healing and recharging for those who enjoy creating and sharing in a positive environment where you feel comfortable and inspired to create. You do not need to be an artist or have top skills to join...It is about having fun experimenting with different mediums and exploring ideas on a visual journal and other formats. It has been a long time

Hello, I am back after way to long and I wonder if there is anyone out there. I hope so, since otherwise I am all alone in "Our Little Creative Spot". What I did want to share today was something new in my life. Yes, such is life, what can I say. The Summer is always full of changes and surpises for me...It seems that every Summer for the past few years something new starts to happen. Last year we moved houses, this year we might be moving back, but I have also started a new shop on Etsy. So time will tell what the end of Summer will look like, but for now I am ready to create and to explore my love of texture and color. I am working happily to develop this new line of art that I chose to share with the World. I hope you all join me as I continue in this journey and I look forward to sharing what inspires me with all of you. Today my inspiration was color combinations and jewelry and I created a few art pieces to sell in my store...So much fun...I love it! Hello my creative Friends, hope all of you are doing well. I am finally back in my creative zone and I hope to be able to share more often with all of you. I have a few simple plans of things I want to share on my blog and will be giving that a try very soon. So please start following again and let me know what all of you think. Hello to all my creative friends. The month of January has been a very active one so far...Travels, family time, crafty shopping and now on to new and wonderful creative challenges to join and create...I is already looking like a fun and positve new year for all. I have just proudly added the badge for the amazing private group I joined last year on Facebook, hosted and organized by Luisa Diaz and I look forward to the coming months and everything they will bring. The special friendships I have found online sharing through YouTube, Tinychat, Skype and NBC's Facebook group are such a joy in my life and I truly treasure this amazing opportunity. I hope I can continue to share with all of you. I am proud to say that I have two craft channels. I started my Spanish channel Puntoturquesa in the last months of 2012 with great response and the joy of finding new wonderful, creative, talented and crafty friends. I look forward to this 2013 and all the fun and inspirational moments we will have the opportunity to share. I feel very blessed to be inspired and to learn from so many talented ladies and friends in this new creative journey and thank all of you for your support and sharing. Have a great January and I hope to be back soon to share more with all of you. I will do my best to keep all of my creative channels active and to find ways in which I can share with all my friend groups here and on the rest of the creative groups I am proud to be part of. Hello my crafty friends I have been neglecting my blog for way to long and I am so sorry. Here is a little update. May and June have been wonderful so far. School ended on the 31st of May and I was super drained after a long year with tons of work, but so thrilled to get some time to do my crafts. I celebrated my 45th Birthday on the 1st of June and have kept right on celebrating by doing some serious crafting hauls and working on lots of new projects. I am so thankful to have been able to get some wonderful goodies to play with. I was able to do this after a week of serious cleaning and organizing and some crafty shopping and lots of help from very kind and truly special new friends. With all their wonderful support I have been so inspired to create and I am loving it. There are no words to describe how thankful I am for the motivation and support I have been receiving form all the incredible people in this community. New friends who take time out of their lives to leave me sweet comments of support and motivation. They make my day extra special. I will try to keep up with both the blog and my YouTube channel and do all the projects I have planned for this summer and would love for you to join me in this journey. I hope we get to share some very special moments in this little corner and bring each other lots of inspiration. It has been so much fun so far and I hope it only gets better. My recent project

Hello I am back and trying my best to keep up with the crafting and posting but this school year has been so busy that I don't find the time to do all the things I would love to do. Today I was actually able to finish my second Birthday present for one of my daughter's friends. I did the first one last weekend. I decided to try and give handmade things for all the next presents coming up this month. So I am hard at work on them since my daughters have been invited to five birthdays so far...I made a video of both of them. Please visit my YouTube channel or press on the video below to watch. Finally had some time to update

Hello my creative friends, it has been way to long since I had some time to film and actually update my YouTube Channel and Blog...This school year has been way more intense than my last one. so I have been way to tired and busy to do it. When I do have the time I am just way to drained to do my crafting or anything to time consuming. So ,so sorry for that.

Anyways I have been working in my art just as a way to relax and to keep some type of creation going and I would like to share some of that with you today. To satrt with my update I made a video of my art journal for the trip to France...It is still in the works but I am almost done with the bulk of it.

The other projects I have been working on are a couple of sketchbooks and many little painting excercises that I love doing when I do get some free time. It really helps me to relax and feel like I have done something for my creative juices to keep flowing. Finally, I have this week off from work...YAY!!! so I am loving that I could dedicate some time to my craft room and some small projects. I missed it way to much...I only wish I could do it more often.

So that is what I have been upto on my creative journey for the fast months and I hope to be able to do a lot more during this upcoming summer vacation...
